Best treatment for dark undereye circles?
Hi. So I’m only in my 20′s but my eyes look older or like i’ve had about 4 hours’ sleep! They always have a darkish shadow under my eyes, no matter how much sleep i’ve had. Makeup only helps a little. I even bought that bare minerals makeup stuff and that didn’t work as good as the $10 concealer at the drugstore (which isn’t saying much)!
Does anyone have any tips to cover up the dark circles, or better yet get rid of them altogether? There are so many products on the shelves that mention dark circles, but most of them also are geared toward lines and wrinkles (which I don’t have) and are for older women.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
(oh, and i’m looking for a reasonably priced product. preferably one that is sold at like a Walgreen’s and not a mall!)
Thanks

Experiences with dermatologists? Skin problems? HELP!?
Okay so I’m 13 years old and I get about 2-3 regular pimples a week and sometimes some white heads in between my eye brows or on my nose. I have pretty dark under eye circles, and medium-large pores on and around my nose. After a pimple finally goes away, it usually leaves a dark spot even if I don’t pick it. I use the Clinique 3 step skin care system twice a day (cleanser, toner, moisturizer), I use an exfoliate, use masks, and acne spot treatments but nothing gives me the results I want. I think I want to make an appointment with a dermatologist, but I just want to know if you or anyone you know has any experiences with one. Is it a waste of money? Did they help you change your skin completely?
Thanks in advance for all of your answers, and 10 points will be given to the best answer.
Well, you could go to a dermatologist but he/she’ll prescribe you expensive stuff. When I was your age I was prescribed a cream that was over $100 and didn’t work. You’re young and going through puberty, so annoying as it is, it’s normal to have pimples. Now that I’m older, I started getting a lot more pimples, and worse, than before, so I started going to a dermatologist for acne. This dermatologist prescribed me a whole system of stuff, and it has started to work (plus a pill that has some terrible side-effects for some people). I think since you’re still young, you should maybe try to change your diet (get rid of dairy, take fish-oil supplements) and what you use on your face.

what’s the best treatment for dark circles under the eyes?
I don’t know if anyone yet has mentioned this, but one of the tell-tale symptoms of sinus allergies is the “raccoon mask.” So if possible, you may see if you’re having allergies, and include allergy treatment in addition to any skin treatment you have. Especially if you elect to have surgery to relieve the dark circles, you want to discover if allergies are having an impact, because if they are, the mask will eventually return as a result of the allergy effect on your sinus.
It’s also possible that simply relieving sinus allergy would alleviate the dark circles and eliminate the need for surgery, but usually by the time we’re asking about treatment for the circles, the chronic damage done by the allergies requires dermatological treatment as well.
No matter what, though, look into the role sinus allergies may be playing!

What is the best treatement for dark circles under the eyes?
I have them BAD, naturally. Even went to the doctor and dermatologist and nothing has helped. I had to work makeup underneath them every day, and sometimes that doesn’t even help. I take vitamin supplements, and get enough sleep, but even my doctor said it was part of my skin tone.
So, what is the best treatment out there for dark circles?
Drink LOTS of water! Don’t forget that too much sleep can make you tired and possibly put those circles under your eyes.
Make-up question. Please answer…. :] BEST ANSWER= TEN POINTS?
I use liquid foundation for full coverage. And I use make-up products they supply at Wal-mart. I use Maybelline and Covergirl liquid foundation. My daily make-up rountine is : Wash my face with amedicated face treatment. I do a medium amount of eye-makeup. Then I countine with the rest of face by putting concelor to my blemishes and under eye circles. Then I put on a fair amount of liquid foundation for full coverage but try to also get that natural look. But whenever I look in the mirror different from the one I applied my make-up in, my face looks totally cake-up and oily and ashy and just not a good look at all. It had got to the point where I got I was so upset about how my make-up looked, I actually washed it off in the public bathroom and went natural for the day because of how cakey it looked. And by the end of the day, when I do wear make-up, it looks hideous and really oily and shiny. UGHHH. I CANNOT afford other products from some hightop cosmetic store. But is there any good techinque I can use to prevent a very caked on, ashy, oily face with the products I have. BTW, I have medium-dark toned skin.
Sorry if my question is a bit to long. But I’m trying to be specific and detailed for those who are willing to help me out with my lil’ problem. BEST ANSWER= TEN POINTS :]
omg, i know exactly what you’re saying – and i also have the problem that i have bought make up with glitter in it and for like 2 weeks i looked like a disco ball without knowing it!
personally i would say bring down the eye make up – usually i only wear light mascara (it shows more then you think)
also, only add a small amount of concealer then foundation (too much of both looks cakey) and make sure the foundation feels light and look for any uneven skin tones in both mirrors
acne help (which treatment works best)?
I’ve had acne for a while now. (I’m 14.) I hate having pimples! I’m going to buy an acne treatment thing that will clear up my skin, but I don’t know which one works best.
My t-zone is really oily, but my cheeks are really dry if i don’t put moisturizer on them. I would also like to make my pores smaller and (if possible) get rid of the dark circles under my eyes.
I have pimples, white heads, black heads. . .
Which system would clear up my acne the most and give me the best skin?
I’m thinking of getting either. . .
olay (i would get the products that were suggested with the olay for you thing on the olay website.)
proactiv
neutrogena skin id
clinque acne 3 step system
or just using another product from neutrogena that is not from skin id
which one works best?
is there a system that works best that is not listed here?
has anyone had personal experiences with these acne treatments?
Go for the Clinique 3 Step System. First of all, it’s personalized, so it will be made for you…they have four types, so go to a counter or take the analysis online to figure out which type you have (you dont want to get the wrong one!). It’s amazing how much this stuff helps and their moisturizer works miracles…I know since you’re concerned about acne, a moisturizer probably isn’t your top priority, but sometimes when you use the other stuff your skin gets dry but the clinique moisturizer makes your skin healthy and moisturized without causing more breakouts!

9-Genetic(here is no way just u can cover it by cosmetic brands)
how to reduce the appearance of dark circles under the eyes?
I am only 16 years old. does anyone know of any eye creams that will help reduce the appearance of these dark circles? it is really hard for me to find the best one because they are all for wrinkles and puffiness. i tried neutrogena and olay and they did not work. does the Ulta Dark Circle Intensive Eye Treatment work? which eye creams would you recommend for me? Thank you
you need a lot of sleep and hydration to get rid of it!!
it really helps.
i use wrinkle creme but since it doesn’t work for you i think you should get the ulta dark circle thing. or garnier makes this like ball pen thing made for it and my friend uses it and she doesn’t have dark circles at ALL.
also you can try putting 2 silver spoons in the freezer and just put it on the circles for as long as you can stand. the longer the better and then do it everyday and it should reduce the appearence.
try putting concealer over it for now.
physicans formula makes this really concealer for dark circles.
What is the best product for….?
under eye treatment.
that helps conquer bags, dark circles, and puffiness…
There are many causes of dark circles, from age, heredity, allergies, cold or sinus infection, bone structure and glasses which are not so commonly known.
http://www.mydarkcirclesblog.com/2006/11/27/causes-of-dark-circles/
If you would like to apply home remedies to reduce dark circles, here are some of my suggestions:
Buy a box of regular, old fashioned unflavored gelatin (e.g. Knox) from grocery store. Take a small cup or bowl and put in 1 teaspoon of the gelatin mix. Add one tablespoon of boiling water & stir for a minute. Test it on your wrist to make sure it is not too hot. Then, using a cotton ball, pat it under your eyes as you would an eye cream or gel. Go lie down and listen to some music, or take a bath & let it stay on for at least 30 minutes. Then just rinse it off.Gelatin is very high in Vitamin K & Biotin. It will not remove your dark circles on the first application (but you will notice a difference), but if you do it daily for a week, and then 2-3 times a week for maintenance, you should notice a drastic reduction in dark circles.

what is the best treatment for dark undereye circles?
I don’t get very much sleep (about 6-7 hrs avg.) and I am pretty stressed out. Obviously improving these two things will help with the circles, but getting more sleep is not really an option, nor is reducing my stress level, so please don’t waste my time with responses which instruct me to do so.
Is there anything I can use, short of makeup (I’m a 16 year old guy), which will help the circles?
I have tried cucumbers and using gelatin under my eyes…both of which did not give visible results.
Thank you for your educated responses. Please only provide methods which you have had success with
Dark circles under the eyes: is the issue of congestion, micro damaged capillaries, and oxidative build up that the body cannot rid itself.
When congestion occurs an imbalance sets in causing toxic buildup, which again can come from constipation, lack of sleep, doing desk jobs, and anything that would promote congestion.
The cure is obvious, stop congestion by promoting circulation, reduce toxic buildup, and provide the body with nutrients needed for healing of damaged tissues!
Promoting Circulation. There are several ways to promote circulation that will reduce congestion. Get away from your desktop computer and point your head looking up 90 degrees and stay there for a couple of seconds.
There are several critical points which bring up congestion, first is facial massage around the sinus and the neck area below the ear where circulations needs to be drained.
The other possibility is to do a neck exercise, slowly of course, nodding forward, backwards, left, and finally right, three to four times each. Then circle your neck counterclockwise a couple of times slowly again then clockwise a couple of times. This will really help. The secret is to do it SLOWLY, and do as often as you like. No limitations. It helps with the neck and top back pain a lot, because this is the common area of congestion.
When people do not get enough sleep, yes it is easy to blame lack of sleep, people tend to overlook something else. With lack of sleep or rest, people do not drink enough water! So just drink enough water, to get the circulation moving!
Of course, there other extreme of dark circles is too much water water retention. In this case it is due to eating too much salty snacks or taking medicine which can bring on edema. If the issue is too much water retention, then taking certain supplements which will cause ridding of excess of water will be helpful. stay away from fried foods, salty snacks, etc.
Nutrients to rebuild Damaged Tissues. Certain nutritition helps improved skin textures and sometimes brighter looking eyes sometimes. These include flavonoids, found in hesperidin, rose hips, bee pollen, royal jelly, vitamin B5 panthenol (or pantothenic acid), gingko, chitosan, inositol B8, oatmeal (high in silicon), and most importantly vitamin C in the form of sodium ascorbate, which is an alkaline form of vitamin C. These all will help repair damage tissues and reduce allergies.
As to whether using cucumbers and other ailments will help such as apple cider vinegar, etc. These will help too since they also help detoxify the body .
Please. I NEED help. I have TERRIBLE undereye cirles!! How to get rid of them?? Makeup, treatments, more?
I’ve asked this question before, but am looking for more helpful answers!
I am 15, but i have really puffy and dark circles. Even my mom comments on them, and she almost never comments on our looks! I’ve been told it could be part of growing, but anyways to make them less noticeable?
What are the best concealers? (im caucasian) I’m not looking for liquid, because those never work, but anything else? I’ve heard a yellow underbase works– does it? If so, what’s the best kind?
Is there anything to tighten the bags? Some answers on here said raw potatoe peels or peanutbutter works, but is this actually true? Does putting cold spoons or teabags under my eyes work that much?
I want quick, but more importantly DRASTIC results.
Would posting up a picture help? Tell me if I should…
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! I feel so insecure at school, like everyone can notice, and therefore I am less confident. This would help so much. thank you thank you thank you.
Remedies For Dark Circles
* An instant dark circles remedy is to use the correct concealer. The shade should be lighter than your foundation. If circles are very dark, choose 2 shades lighter. Great choices can be Revlon New Complexion Concealer, Estee Lauder Smoothing Skin Concealer, Cover Girl Smoothers Concealer, or Neutrogena Smoothing Skin Stick.
* Apply a good Vitamin K cream. Vita-K Solution gel or Peter Thomas Roth Power K Eye Rescue help strengthen capillary walls around the dark circles to make them less visible.
* Home remedies for dark circles can include the following:
1. Drink plenty of water to combat dehydration.
2. Wear at least SPF 30 sunscreen to prevent more sun damage.
3. Get enough sleep.
4. Leave cold teabags, cucumber or potato slices, or washcloths with ice cubes on eyes for 15 minutes regularly.
5. Take iron supplements if anemic, but consult your doctor first.
6. Identify the allergens and avoid them. Whether it be pollen, food, whatever, avoidance is the best solution to this. And avoid rubbing your eyes.
* One of the greatest remedies for dark circles is Arbonne’s NutriMinC® RE9 Repair. It’s a corrective puffiness and dark circles eye cream that does additional benefits – firming, moisturizing and repairing the delicate tissue around the eye.

What is the best product for dark circles under eyes?
I ave really dark circles under my eyes and I get them genetically, but when I’m tired and don’t get enough sleep they look horrible. Foundation helps a bit, but I want to get rid of them. I have seen a lot of commercials, but can someone recommend a reasonably priced product that works????? I will even accept home-made treatments.
I use eye cream and it works great. Avon has the best ones I’ve ever tried.
I’m a 33 year old man, does anyone know of any good products to help with bad dark circles and puffy bags?
I’ve had them for months and I’m not doing anything crazy like missing sleep, or partying too much. The eye puffiness came on all of a sudden and have got worse and worse, then follwed by dark circles under and around my eyes.
A friend of a friend is doctor (GP) and he said to go for a product containing something called eyseryl, as its meant to be the best ingredient to solve the dark circle problem. He’d used a product from america with this ingredient – joten dark circles, but company is now bust, but apparantly it worked well.
I wonder if anyone can help me, as I really don’t want to spend money on any products that don’t work this side of Xmas as I’m limited with funds at the moment. My dark circles are very bad, almost blueish and purple in colour. I wonder if anyone knows of the best product? I have looked at Manceuticals Dark Circle eye treatment at Harvey Nichols in Knightsbridge and Skin Doctors Eye Tuck in House of Fraser and Dermaximne online. I have spoken to their sales people and they all seem to say they work. So I really don’t know what to go for.
Can anyone help?
Will this work for dark circles i found it on the internet?
Do an Answers Search and you will learn that many have tried teabags and report that they did absolutely nothing to reduce dark circles.
There is an epidemic of under eye bags and circles and many are reported by those in teens or early twenties. The main reason is reaction to skin sickening toxins in skin care, cosmetic and skin medicating products. Many teenage girls use 20 or more products daily and an alarming number of products contain skin(and health) harming toxins. See this site Skin Deep Cosmetic Database. A Feelgood Resource. The Database tested many thousands of products and identifies which ones are the most harming and those which are non or only minimally harming. So first thing to do is select the none or least harming products.
Then try these safe, natural, tried and tasted treatments that quickly and permanently get rid of them. They really work and have helped many on Answers
This is a response I received from wannabeblue28:
“Hi Mukunda M. I have just been rubbing my face with oil using my fingers and hands and It has made a HUGE difference in my complexion after just one night. …… My skin looks so much tighter everywhere and i no longer have bags under my eyes! Thank you so much for your post, I have been suffering with acne and under-eye circles since i was young.”
She had seen an answer I gave about how vigorous face massaging with pure natural oils had permanently rid my face of acne AND removed my bags/circles. Massage greatly tightens skin under and around the eye area and the bags go away. Find Answer with a search “Mukunda M vigorous massage to remove eye bags/circles”
The most helpful ones are:
(Using both hands together) massage with palms and front of fingers held together
(1) Do long up and down sweeps close to nose from chin area up to near eyes.
(2) Do another up and back at an angle from chin point to cheek bone.
(3) Do fast up and down massage close to eye from cheek bones at an angle of 45 degrees (on your crows feet).
Best if do for several minutes daily – will markedly tighten skin in eye area and diminish the circles in the first two or three days. Use any oil. Olive is good.
IMPORTANT: To avoid skin pulling first make facial skin taught by partially opening mouth and pulling lips firmly back against teeth (tightens most of face)
Use any natural oil. Extra virgin olive oil works well for many.
Additionally facial yoga exercises help a great deal. Find on You Tube. Do the “The lion face” and try to hold for 30 seconds. A variation of that is protruding the tongue as if trying to touch tip of nose with tip of tongue.
YOGA MEDITATION is a great help and is easy to do. It enables you to completely relax and gives you deep, restful sleep. 6 or 7 hours of restful sleep is considerably more beneficial than 8 or 9 more hours of non restful sleep. I found Siddha Yoga meditation was the most beneficial.

Wash ur face with a good cleanser everyday, mosturise, exfoliate a couple of days a week especially if you have oily skin. Keep facial wipes with u, so when ur skin feels like it has no life just wipe it n it’ll feel fresh n give u a glow. Drink lots of water. All this should give u good healthy skin, with no need for makeup. Use eyeliner and mascara for definition. Natural look is always best.

What is the best type of facial for dry to combination skin and where in Brampton, ON is the best place?
I need a facial soooo bad and need a good reccomendation…i dont know sometimes when you go to the salon. I notice they always want you to get the most expensive treatment. My main problem is blackheads and dark circles under my eyes. I am 24 yrs old.
10 pts for best answer!!!
You never get rid of white/blackheads “for good”. You have to get rid of them, then maintain a regimen to minimize their recurrence. You have a few options that I’ve used- Pore Strips, Blackheadmask-Before you use any method, I would recommend that you STEAM your face first. Be careful though. Get a pot, fill it half way with hot water, get it to boil. SHUT OFF the stove, and place your face above the steam. Again, be careful. You can also get a towel, soak it in hot water, and cover your face with it. Just make sure it’s not hot enough to burn your skin. Then, do whatever treatment you want to do. After the treatment/strip/mask- Rinse your face with COLD WATER, then close your pores with either 1.salicylic Acid, or 2. Benzoyl Peroxide/acne medication 3. Sulfur ( I use de la cruz 10% but it is very drying) 4. Tea Tree oil (I’m going to be trying this one soon) to kill the bacteria that causes them in the first place. Go to http://www.blackheadmask.com if you’d like to purchase the mask (20$) but shipping takes a couple of weeks. Hope this helps. Good luck!!!

Best AT HOME treatment for dark under eye circles?
besides sleep.
like does cold water work?
Most of it is genetic. I have them to. Just get lots of sleep, and try not be stressed to much. I also have heard that when you cry a lot under eye circles appear darker. Not sure if it’s true tho. Also drink plenty of water. Getting a bit of color in your face as well as putting cold spoons under eyes may help. Get ShiSeido Benefiance Revitalizing Cream. I got mine from Macy’s and just a tiny dab of it does wonders on dark circles.
vitamin E oil, olive oil, cucumbers, & a doctor can also help. I have pretty bad ones so this is all from experience.
Hope this helps.
under eye bags/wrinkles?!!?
ok i am barely 20…having dark circles and wrinkles under my eyes is not alright! please recommend the best serums or under eye treatments you can think of…preferably drug store, but something found at sephora would be alright too, just nothing outrageously expensive! something less than 30-40 bucks would be ideal. THANK you!
oh and the eyebags aren’t caused from lack of sleep or anything, it’s my own fault for always rubbing at my eyes and basically just not being gentle with the skin around my eyes. am trying to remedy this, but in the meantime i could really use a good serum! i’m afraid to not wear my glasses because they’re so prominent!
Here are some home remedies that you could try:
Slice cucumber into thick slices. Cucumber slices have long been used to reduce puffiness and refresh the appearance of skin around the eyes, providing a fast “pick-me-up” for tired and puffy eyes. Place a slice over each eye, extending over the darkened area. Do this daily, coupled with lying down for 10-15 minutes. Keep your eyes closed.
Apply cool tea bags or an ice cube wrapped in soft cloth to your eyes daily. The tannin in tea bags reduces swelling and discoloration. Lie down, preferably in the morning, and leave the fresh, cool, damp, caffeinated tea bags (you can refrigerate them overnight so they’ll be ready) over your eyes for about 10-15 minutes. Keep your eyes closed.
Pour a saline solution (2 cups water with a 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt[9] and/or a half tea-spoon of baking soda) in one of your nostrils with your head tilted to the side so that the water comes out the other nostril. It’s best used when you’re experiencing nasal congestion.
Use a potato. Place one uncooked potato into a liquidizer and liquidize the whole potato. Scoop out and place the pureed potato on your closed eyes .Keep it there for 30 minutes, lying on your back, then wash it off with warm water. This method works well for some people.
Use a frozen spoon. Put a spoon in the freezer and pour water into it. (Putting the water in after you put it in the freezer makes sure you don’t spill any.) Leave it in there for a short period of time then take it out. Put it on the dark circles and leave it there until the ice starts to melt.
And here are some cosmetic solutions:
Apply an eye cream containing vitamin K and retinol. Dark circles may be caused by a deficiency of vitamin K. Regardless of the cause, however, skin creams containing these two ingredients reduce puffiness and discoloration significantly in many people. Long-term daily use seems to have the greatest effect
Use an under-eye cream. Use a concealer that will camouflage the dark under-eye circles. It’s important to use a concealer that matches your undertone (namely, yellow, peach (for bluish circles), tan, light brown, etc.) After applying the concealer, set it with a light dusting of translucent powder.
Treat your skin while you sleep. There are overnight facial masques that may help reduce the appearance of puffiness or discoloration, or you can make your own. And try this simple remedy: just before going to bed, take a piece of cloth and wet it a little with cold water. Squeeze out any excess water and place it over your eyes as you sleep.
Is this Depression, Stress or Anxiety?
I’m 25, have hardly any appetite, constant upset stomach / recurring infections, shaky, but I don’t feel tearful over anything that I should. I feel mentally numb, can’t look people in the eye, always feel guilty for things that are nothing to do with me. Also crave cheese, salty foods + carbohydrates (but not chocolate and sweets). Dark circles under eyes, pale face, snappy, impatient, obsessive. I’ve had enough and really want to do the best thing from here on but…….don’t know what the best thing to do is! My GP is reluctant to prescribe something like Valium but the thought of something like that fills me with relief if I could just use something to escape this 24/7 feeling of constant lack of well-being. I have been on Corticosteroids (Prednislolone) for Inflammaotry Bowel Disease for 10 years now and I read that this can severely deplete Serotonin levels. Anybody experienced these symptoms together and found that any medications / techniques / treatment has worked for this?
To: ninety9point8. I’ve NEVER had Valium in my life!
You are depress!!!… Have you check your thyroid lately, sugar levels? have you check your meds interaction with each other? It could be so many things, but you are the only one who can stop those feelings. Why worry for things or situations that you will not die for it, or is not under your control.
What you can do my friend is think back when you used to feel happy and want to do things, think when everything changed, recognize the symptoms, them study them. after find a solution to be better. But everything depend on you and how much you willing to put in to get better. my guess thyroid is one of the decease that attack your entire body from head to toe and you not even recognize it till you have the symptoms. It’s good that you have ask here, because is many of us can give you a tip that may help you. hopefully you will find the answer. Choose A professional Specialist not a regular Dr.
Best.

Pores will reduce in one night, skin will clear and tone will even out in the next few days. Marks and scars will diminish in as little as 14 days depending on how vigorously/ how long you massage. And will further diminish day by day. See testimonials below.(I can send you many others)
I had acne scars, pigmentation and a mass of unsightly freckles, uneven skin tone and this one treatment got rid of them all
Specialized vigorous oil massaging works wonders. I had great success with extra virgin olive – It is noncomedogenic so does not clog, cause breakouts or make skin oily.
Important to first tighten skin by partially opening mouth and pulling lips FIRMLY back against teeth. Use both hands and do forward and back quite vigorous massage with front and tips of fingers and palms where possible. Circular massage is not effective. The massaging friction rubs them away and forces a totally clear skin to emerge overtime.
Build up to vigorous as skin has to first adjust. If you are able to do 20/25 or even more minutes daily (can be in two or more sessions) you will see fast results.
## Jasmin’s question “I used to have acne pretty bad when I was younger. Now, however, the breakouts have seemed to pretty much stop but I still have the dark marks and acne scars. PLEASE tell me the best way to get rid of them”.
Here is Jasmin’s message posted an Answers.
“My advice? LISTEN TO MUKUNDA M!!! He knows what he’s talking about. I directly emailed him because he’s gotten so many Best Answers for skincare topics. I’ve been doing the oil treatment for a little more than 3 weeks and I can’t tell you how absolutely fantastic the results are.
Seriously, you will not be disappointed.”
## wannabeblue28: “Hi Mukunda M. I have just been massaging my face and neck with the ridges of my fingers and hands. Thank you so much for your post, I have been suffering with acne and under-eye circles since i was young.”

Are you going to try it?!? I don’t have scars but I’d love to have perfectly flawless skin. There’s someone who backs this fully. The question I have is, is it good for your skin in the long run? Would it cause winkles. I would love to ask the person who wrote this. Good luck and let me know if you try it. It can’t do harm now so why not- if it works it would be awesome
I just checked him out- typed his name in and people just love him. Over 3,000 best answers. I’m going to try it- why not. He should make you-tube videos.
how do i get rid of dark circles/bags under my eyes?? PLEASE HELP!!?
Hi! i’m only 16 and i already have really dark circles and bags under my eyes. I do have allergies, but i get enough sleep (8 hours) and always wear sunscreen so they really shouldn’t be as bad as they are. I heard that the following treatments work, but i was wondering, if any, work the best???
Tea bags
cucumbers
oil
moisturizers
clinique “all about eyes”
coconut
milk (?)
cold spoon compress (for puffiness)
MANY eye creams
Do any of these really work?? i don’t want to spend a lot of money so if i have to buy anything i want to make sure it works! I would also be willing to try any other treatment you know of/have tried!
Thanks! – Alyssa-
What is the best under eye concealer for under £15?
I have terrible dark circles, and I would like a really thick concealer preferably one that dispenses from a stick with a brush. Any suggestions?? I have found Soap and Glory’s Trick and Treatment is rubbish….
I LOVE benefit boi-ing concealer, it’s £15.50 and worth every penny, lasts ages too…..

I THINK MY DOG HAS A BRAIN TUMOR OR ENCEPHALITIS. HELP!!?
I would like to begin by thanking everyone that is reading my post. My dog’s name is Simba. He is a 4 lbs yorkie about 3 years old. The story begins by Simba being perfectly health and active. About 3 weeks ago we noticed that his teeth were getting really nasty so we took him to the vet to get a standard teeth cleaning. This is where all the problems began. They put Simba under and cleaned his teeth. As most pet owners know, the dog is all groggy when you pick him/her up, so when we brought him home, all he wanted to do was to go straight to bed. The next day we noticed that he had a slight limp in his front right leg. We took him back to the vet and ask him what was wrong with the leg. They took x-rays and they came out negative, so the vet thought he had a sprain. They put a cast on his leg and sent him home. We removed the cast 2-3 days later. We noticed slight to no improvement on the leg and then the stream of problems came. We noticed that Simba began to walk in circles. At first, we thought it was the leg, but after further testing, we concluded that he was blind in the right eye. We figured that he had a stroke while having his teeth cleaned. We immediately rushed him to the vet and he referred us to a neurologist. We made an appointment and went the next day. The vet performed some exams and concluded that he was blind in the right eye and the right side of his body was deteriorating. They conducted an MRI the next day.
This is where my actual problems arise. The results came back and there is a clear sign that there is inflammation on the left side of his brain. This is why he is losing functionality on the right side of his body. There is also a small area on the scan that is barely marked with a white lining on the MRI. The radiologist concludes that Simba has a tumor in his brain. The neurologist thinks he is too young to have a tumor or stroke and she believes that he has Encephalitis. She got a second opinion from another radiologist and he thinks that it could be either a tumor or encephalitis, but he too is leaning towards a tumor. She immediately put my dog on 1mg of prednisone, twice a day.
Now today, I went to get a second opinion from another neurologist and he thinks that there is no way that it could be Encephalitis because he should have multiple spots in MRI scans to indicate that it is an immune disease. He feels that it is either a tumor or a stroke. His recommendation is that we tamper Simba off of prednisone and conduct another MRI in 2 weeks.
My question that I need answered is that, will this be a waste of money or more importantly a waste of time? I want Simba to get the best treatment possible, but taking another MRI scan in two weeks seems redundant. I would imagine that the scan will come out the same. We just really need someone that can clearly read the scan properly. All of the vets, neurologists and radiologists’ findings are inconclusive and we are seeking a more definitive answer to what is wrong with Simba so that we can treat him for that problem. One neurologist even had the nerve to tell me to start him on radiation treatments when she did not even know what he had. If anyone can please help me, I would really appreciate it. Thank you so much for spending the time to read my post and please put Simba in your prayers.
In your opinion, what treats dark circles under eyes best?
For some reason I always have really bad dark circles under my eyes, even if I get plenty of sleep. So, I was wondering which concealer/cream/treatment for dark circles actually works, and well?
I live in the UK, so something I can get here. The cheaper the better, but I don’t mind over £10 if it works AMAZING.
Photographers have models put used tea bags under their eyes to reduce circles and puffy eyes. Models never sleep so I believe it works.
you’re supposed to save the tea bag and put it into the fridge for a few hours. Then lay down with them on your eyes.
The best skincare routine ever?
I was looking around on the internet for products to use for acne skin. I found this and i sort of want to try it but im unsure wether it will work. doesnt soap dry out your skin??? So this is what i found:
“Ok…I am going to try to convince you to do what I do and have been doing for yrs. NO ONE guesses my age correctly, they always knock 20 yrs off….yes, I am old.
Just try this….everyone I have told it too, calls me and want to get a patent on it. You have dish soap, and your have bleach. You need only buy a very small bottle of olive oil. YOu put the bleach in a bottle…about an inch then fill w/water. You get your washcloth…or face buffer(little white round buffer pads) Put the soap on the cloth then tip the bottle over on the cloth…so you really just have a small amt….rub your skin, w/a little pressure….go in circles….up around your hairline, in front of your ears…and especially your chin, you can rub a little harder on your chin. Then rinse….dry and get your olive oil bottle….wet both your hands….rub them together, so that they are just damp then again turn the bottle over in one of your hands…w/your hand pressed against the bottle top….so that just a smidge comes out. Rub your hands together again….then rub the oil/water all over your face, under your eyes…
.. Give this treatment everyday a wk. You will see the difference. Some very weatherbeaten skins see new look the same day. My son did all this, then called me. Mom…I have new skin, like a baby. My grson stayed w/me for a wk. I used this method on him…..the kids had been calling him Pizza Face, because he had such acne. I swear to you, the acne was so less noticible, when he went back to school…the kids asked him what he did w/the pizza.
My son has lawn service so is out in the sun a lot. He looked 10 yrs younger. It makes the wrinkles so less noticible. I hope you try. YOu will be glad you did.”
Beach? I wouldnt use bleach on your skin, thats a stupid idea! Bleach burns your skin, especially your face as skin is thinner and more sensitive. And soap will dry out your face really bad. Just wash your face with a flannel and warm water everyday and cleanse tone and moisturise daily too. Preferably a moisturiser with spf as it will protect from sun damage- which causes wrinkles!
Oh and drink lots of water- hydrated skin looks fuller and healthier. Hope this helps.
Need best treatment/concealor for dark under eye circles?
Who can tell me the best way to get rid of, or at least hide, my dark circles under my eyes. I get plenty of rest, so thats not the problem. I’d prefer not to have to use something that requires me to wear foundation, but I will if necessary.
Here are a few ways to reduce that look without chemicals.
1. Use cucumbers. You don’t have to visit a high class spa to get the benefits. Cool cucumber slices reduce puffiness and fluid around the eyes. The juices lighten the skin under the eyes. Apply thin cucumber slices to closed eyes for 10 minutes. Toss them in a salad when you’re done.
2. Potato slices are good for under eye circles as well. Who ever heard of using potatoes? In old fashioned remedies, potatoes were used to draw out impurities. Here, use thin raw potato slices (washed first). Apply them to your eyes for about 20 minutes. The circles will get lighter.
3. Banana puree. Restore moisture to your skin and a healthier look with bananas. You won’t be eating them but putting them on your face. Mash ripe bananas into a lumpy spread or a smooth puree and smear under your eyes before bed. In the morning, you’ll be amazed at how good the area under your eyes will look.
4. Use chamomile tea bags. Whether warm or cold, tea bags can help in the fight against under eye circles. Brew the tea like you would if you wanted to enjoy a cup. Put the tea bags on a plate to cool. For chilled tea bags, place them in the refrigerator. When the desired temperature is reached, put the tea bags on your eyes for 10 minutes.
5. Drink plenty of water. Part of the reason skin begins to look dark under the eyes is due to lack of proper hydration. Drinking at least eight glasses of water a day can stop under eye circles from being a problem in the first place.
6. You are what you eat. Your diet has a lot to do with how your body behaves. Not getting enough vitamins and nutrients on a daily basis affects how we look and feel. As far as looks, you could develop dark circles under the eyes from the deficiency of one or more necessary nutrients.
7. Dark circles and lack of moisture. Keep skin hydrated from the outside as well. Using a daily moisturizer with Vitamin E (avocado and nut ingredients) keeps skin supple. For a more natural application, use avocado puree or almond oil.
Dark circles are horrid at any time. Try natural remedies to get rid of them.
and now some products I use are:
…benefit boi-ing concealer $18 at sephora, 3 shades
merle norman cover up $12 at merle norman, 12 shades
mark perfect touch concealer $5 from mark/avon rep, 5 shades
i have tried and loved them all…they go on easily, offer buildable coverage, stay put, and look fresh.
mm ..mac cover stick also is a good product.

My friend seems to have this condition chronically and was wondering the best way to treat such an issue. I know sleep is the obvious answer but she seems to sleep a fair amount yet still has them. Are there any vitamins, herbs, minerals, etc. that could help with this issue?
black tea bags over the eyes work quite well.

Help! Dark circles under the eye.?
Somebody can help me? What’s the best treatment for dark circles under the eye? I just ask at the mall and they recommend me Chanel product, for $130 Dlls!
Is something cheaper but that really works?
Thanks!
I personally prefer to use foundation that matches my skin tone then top it off with true blend powder. You could buy this in any drug store. Simply use the foundation and put it on the dark circles and then put the powder which will make it look more natural and the dark circles won’t show much.
what is the best treatment for dark circles under my eyes?

i dont have any allergies
welll i know one thing…potatoes are the best…cut some thin slices of potatoes and just before going to sleep put them on your eyes for about 10 to 15 minutes …after that wash your eyes with water…not hot or warm water…just fine or little cold and apply some cream to moisten your eye’s areas…i’m telling to moist your eyes because that potato juice dry you skin …..so to avoid dry skin you have to do it…and don’t rub your eyes when you have potatoes on your eyes or you have removed them…..you can also try cucumbar…it does work alot

Thanks

Dark circles can treated with regular and gentle care.Cover your eyes with cotton soaked in luke warm milk for 15 minutes everyday to remove the dark circles around your eyes or dip cotton pads into freshly extracted mint juice, flatten them and place them on closed eyelids for 10 to 15 minutes.
